Today is the last day of my series using the Faerie Tarot. I have really grown to like this deck. I think once I actually work with a deck for a while it kind of grows on me, even if I didn’t think I liked it at first or had trouble relating to it. There’s a lesson in that somewhere. But for now, let’s see what the Faerie Tarot has to say about my day:
Mind – Seven of Swords. In some decks this card means being sneaky, but for me it almost always means carrying too much. When you carry too many things you inevitably end up dropping a few of them. Plus, you don’t do your best job because you are distracted.
The age of multitasking really should be over. It just doesn’t work for most people as far as business goes. Pick a project, focus on it, and leave the rest alone for a bit. You will find that you are actually able to get more done, and done even better, because of this.
Apparently there is a lot on my mind today, and maybe I should just focus on that sword above my head.
Body – Queen of Cups. I may be emotional today. Yes, I count emotions in the body. That is, after all, where we feel them. Some people think of emotions from the head, but that isn’t true.
Sure your emotions are often caused by your thoughts, so it’s important to get a handle on them. But, you still feel them in the body.
Maybe if I put down all of those swords that will help. 
Spirit – Seven of Cups. This is also a slightly different depiction than you will find in many Rider-Waite-Smith clone decks. Often the Seven of Cups means that you have too many choices and don’t know which path to choose.
In this case, this faerie has most definitely chosen her cup. Again, this card shows that by focusing on one thing we will actually get the most out of our lives.
