Fluffy Bunnies #3 Making Wands

Today the Fluffy Bunnies return for Fluffy Friday. Now that I know how to make word bubbles in PhotoShop and I don’t have to print and scan in images, I plan on finally being able to bring you Fluff every Friday! (Fingers Crossed.)

Many Pagans, especially Wiccans, like to make their own wands. Some traditions state that the wood imbues specific properties into the wand, and so the wood should be chosen carefully.

Apparently, Humphrey wants a wand made of yew. If you don’t know the song he is singing, you can find it on YouTube here.

When I first went to aWiccan class, I was told specifically that yew was the ONLY wood that a wand should be made from. If you haven’t figured out my point of view on statements like this, you obviously have not been keeping up with my blog – shame on you!

Seriously, though, if you ever go to a spiritual gathering or class and the people leading it insist that their way is the only way, or that something absolutely has to be done a specific way…RUN! No kidding.

Halloween is the funnest time of year for Pagans (I think, anyway), and next month Misty will visit her sister who is getting ready for Christmas, which is her favorite holiday. Misty’s mom may even show up. I wonder what she’ll think of Misty’s roommate Aleister?
